Oma Makhija
Oma Makhija is a current high school student interested in the intersection of cognitive science, computer science and pure mathematics. She has previously conducted research on diagnosing dyslexia from handwriting. She has also studied group theory, combinatorics and topology. She is the co-president of her school’s math club and designs math contests in addition to presenting on various topics in pure and competition mathematics. Oma is also the co-creator of math games PRIMES and PIVOT which are designed to improve cognitive thinking and mental math skills. In her free time she enjoys playing card and board games, building LEGO botanical sets, and creating digital art.
