Ayan Mitra, PhD

Ayan is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Hoeft Laboratory for Learning Engineering and Neural Systems (brainLENS Laboratory, UCONN-UCSF) with joint appointment at the Brain Imaging Research Center (BIRC), at the University of Connecticut. His areas of interest include neuroimaging (MRI, EEG, and recently TMS), neurobiology of reading, neurodevelopmental disorders, educational neuroscience, and translating basic scientific research into better educational outcomes for children. Outside the lab, Ayan loves working out, traveling, photography, reading, and exploring new coffee shops.
